| CALLING ALL CLOWNS ! |
Hi! My name is Topsy and I am a clown. Ten years ago I attended Clown School and ever since then I have been hooked. Topsy is my name and topsy-turvy is my aim!
You have entered the world of clowns, and what a wonderful world it is.
Full of mischief, fun, happiness, naughtiness and lots and lots of laughter - all those fluffy fuzzy things. It is a magical world where you leave your everyday self behind and take on the character you have always dreamed of but never had the courage to be. To me, it is the removal of my mask which I wear everyday, but to others it is the putting on of a mask.
There are many activities that I have been involved in but parades are my favourite. I love being a roving clown. This year, 1997, my dream is about to come true. I have been asked to be a clown in the Adelaide Christmas Pageant! Success at last!

I have dabbled in face painting, but decided it is too serious and my painting skills are not wonderful. I seem to get all the wrong things in the wrong place. What a hoot ! My friend Sunshine is good at it though.
What I love about being a clown, however, is that I don't have to be perfect. Clowns aren't perfect and that's what makes them funny and sometimes sad.

As a clown you get to meet lots of other characters too, pirates and fairies and bears and bananas - the world of fantasy that I love !
